Farmerswife - welcome!! Your nickname got me thinking, are you the wife of a farmer irl?

LLM - hope you have a wonderful time in the wedding!! Weddings are great, I bet you're a fabby bridesmaid!

KLP - hope you feel better now? Any idea what you ate? So annoying when your plans fall apart like that!

Hula - always enjoy to hear about your mum's latest additons! How is her Mulberry family coming together?

Flossie - how did your daughter break her leg? I broke mine in May 1999, set back the entire summer.. How both of them have a speedy recovery!

I'm nackered, been out and about all day. Little brother here, and of course we'd like him to see all there is to see. Another fully packed day tomorrow, and some drinks tonight. Luckily they're watching a Tottenham match now

Hope you're having a pleasant Saturday!

Evening ladies, I have had such a lovely day today. First of all I took Coco to a puppy party which was a scream, then I had lunch at our local costa (alone), then I went to order some vinyl for the utility room floor, then I had my nails done. DH took DDs to see Lazy Town at the theatre and I've hardly seen them all day. Sounds mean but a day to myself with noone shouting for me and making demands on me has been utter luxury. I feel refreshed and ready to take DD1 to a firework display in a few mins (DD2 doesn't like them so is staying at home with DH and the animals). Ate like a pig but at least I should have a good weeks weight loss in just over a weeks time LOL.

Hope everyone else's Saturday has been good too!

Hey Bluecat, sounds like you have had a fab day, especially when you had coffee alone, I just love doing that. No children messing around and making lots of noise, sounds good to me. Hope you have a great evening at the fireworks display.

My day has been very quiet, went for a couple of small walks with the kids which was nice as I haven't been able to exercise much. Decided to list one of my bags on ebay and photograph them all to put on the family thread. I really enjoying pulling them out and looking at them, especially my bays.

Thea , my daughter slipped down stairs coming out of her lecture hall and broke her fibula .

Bluecat ,it's nice to enjoy your own company from time to time .

Well the rugby sesaon is underway , that's it now Weekends are for MEN !! One thing that does come out of it though apart from all those rippling muscles is the gorgy Jeremy Guscott , now he was a nice bit of eye candy in his day ( still is )

Thanks girls. I'm still feeling rotten, very weak and can hardly eat. But hopefully I'm on the mend.

Thea, yes, it was from vegetarian cheese and leek "sausages" that hadn't been fully cooked. I won't be able to eat those ever again!

Bluecat, that sounds like a wonderful day. If I'm feeling better come Monday, I'll be getting my hair done and wandering round the shops. Can't wait!

Flossie, I hope your DD is okay.

Thanks KLP and CB , she's been in a lot of pain , it's subsiding though so hopefully another few days , it will be less painful . Bless her it's her Birthday this week as well and she was having a big bash at uni . So I did a dash to Top Shop for some nice things for her to wear once the cast is removed . Hopefully in 6 weeks time .

Glad to hear your feeling better KLP .

Just about to start watching CB. Rod was a car crash on DWTS last night. Time to hang up the leopardskin drawers I think!

I'll be glad when Blackpool week is over. I've spent half the week thinking I should be trying to get there myself

Is she a good patient Flossie?

Hope you pick up Klp. The first thing I do after a bout of food poisoning is to see if my jeans are any looser

You have to look for the silver lining !!!

I saw the one you listed, eeek! If i didnt have one already i'd be tempted, lovely specimen!

KLp, sorry to hear about the food poisoning. I love cheese and leek veggie sausages aswell!

I had my hair cut yesterday - my normal hairdresser has left so someone else did it (I was desperate to get it cut for the wedding Im going to next week).... I dont like how she has cut the sides, and it feels so short! Went into town this morning and felt so self conscious with it

I am sure your hair is lovely Hula but I know what you mean about someone else cutting your hair. I really like my hairdresser and she is moving overseas in Feb and I don't know what I'll do!

KLP, sorry to hear you are feeling poorly after eating those sausages. I hope you keep on improving and in good health very soon.
