SJ, that's so cute about you fixing the bag you found. I was always trying on high heeled shoes when I was little. This grew into a major shoe obsession as the years went on and I now own around 40 pairs of heels!!!!!

^^Ah heels, I'm not v good in those although being only 5ft 3ins, I could do with some added height.
DH bought me some high boots for Christmas & I wore them out to Bath for his birthday meal in January. Our friends & DH were beside themselves laughing, apparently my walking was an exact impression of Dick Emery doing his 'oh you are awful but I like you' character!

That's funny because I have a close friend like you. She loves the place whereas I loathe it. I would rather go to the dentist than TKMaxx.

Hm, good point. When I was working I'd pop in every other day and would nearly always buy something. Now I'm not working I have to limit my TK expeditions to once a month and the figure I can spend is much, much smaller than before. That's okay, I have more than made up for it with my Mulberry purchases!

My sister works on High Street Kensington. I swear she goes into that branch every day. We used to admit our sins to our late mother. My sister now admits them to me instead. I go round on Saturday and she has all her new trophies hanging up around her flat.

oooohhhh no hate the dentist give me shopping anyday, i have just purchased a lovely long t shirt from butler and wilson it has a great big tiger head print on it in black and the t shirt is grey, for a smaller lady it could pass as a dress but i will wear mine with jeans or trousers

Oh I remember him, that's hysterical!! I can't wear heels either, I thilnk it's a balance thing, due to the overload of bosom, which we also have in common! TK Maxx is heaven to me! It's like a great big designer jumble sale!! I love it!

TK Maxx is great for yoga and dance wear . It was a lucky find , since Sweatty Betty stopped doing the pants i normally wear . Half the price too

I ransacked TKMAXX Brighton yesterday and think that I had better give it a rest today then nip in again on Friday to check it out before my sister gets a chance (her flat is just round the corner).
