I keep looking at the Mitzy hobos recently - do they sit comfortably on the shoulder? When I see pictures the strap looks a bit short, so I can never tell.

I love the hobos. Sometimes the strap can be a bit hard, but I just pull the bag so it sits in my shoulder nearer the buckle attachment at either end. If that makes sense. It's great coz you can just chuck everything in. I recommend anyway.

Ha ha thanks. We've been together 14 years, so practically an old married couple!

Thanks for that! My Somerset shoulder is hobo style and I love it for chucking everything in!

I think the strap on my Somerset looks longer than that on the Mitzy, so I wasn't sure if you could comfortable wear it so the top of the Mitzy doesn't rub underneath the top of your arm. I have looked at the messengers, but I don't get on with the style unfortunately

Ooh beautiful bags! I love the green, such a great colour. May have to leave this thread up on my laptop and see if my fiancé gets the hint

I havent got any of the messengers as I had heard there could be issues with height & where the bag sits etc. the top of the hobo can squash down so I have plenty of arm movement. Just this second tried my worn in black one & plenty of room. See pics.

You're welcome. Work tomorrow so mitzy I guess. I am super scared about taking my more colourful bags to the office in case anyone whips by with a pen in their hand!

Totally agree! At my place nobody would appreciate what the bag was and if I got emotional about it they would soon tell me where to go - I work in a team where men are the majority, so there is absolutely no appreciation for "special care around the bag"
