Sorry I'm late to this but I agree that sticking the rings tightly together with tape or a plaster and leaving it under something heavy should do the trick.

I hope it works out okay.

oh no! I must admit I think I agree with mulberry ellie about glueing the rings together as long as you dont ever want to take it off. It can be done if you do decide to locate another ring part, as I have the oak heart on my oak ledbury (see pic), admitedly it took an insane amount of patience (or luck)! Hope you can get this sorted soon!

i've just noticed that mulberry are now selling heart fob keyrings with a leather loop for attaching to bags which makes more sense http://www.mulberry.com/?gclid=CJKEm...4144/category/

Hmmmm wonder what the outcome was here....

Don't you just love it when someone asks for help, we all dive in with support and/or advice and then we never hear from them again!

I was thinking about this one on Friday. I have made a right pig's ear of one of my keyrings and wondered if the glue idea had worked. I'm toying with the idea of getting OH to run the back wheels of the car over it!

Nah. His nails would get shredded and I need him to keep buffing my bags.

Anyway I am getting too much harassment from Jenova who seems to thinks keeping a sloth in a box in a bathroom is a bit off.

Do gooders ..I don't know

And if you're worried about his nails when he's doing the buffing, surely he could wear gloves??

Sloths aren't into walking really. Too lazy.

I let him hang from the shower rail for relaxation. if he finds it hard to nod off then I shove him a bottle of Mr Muscle and he can give the tiles a once over.

Must see if Marigold do reinforced rubberies!
