Well you can't just batter your bags without frying them afterwards can you?

Did you know that saliva has been proven to be a terribly good cleaning agent in lab tests?

Oh no, I was thinking of dry frying or with a squirt of that oil stuff to make it water repellant.

My cooker is not working at the moment and I can't use the microwave because all my bags have metal compents.

Remember there was the "Annie on the Toilet Floor" thread dealing with patina acceleration amonst other things.

Wonder if Wee Jimmy could tweak his buffing technique IYKWIM

Hope that he doesn't really have the runs? Take him to the vet if it goes of for more than 24 hours.

Definitely. That would not be good for the patina at all.

Re: patinas - I've never tried a soft sloth, spitting or frying any bags - but, I've noticed that after a clean with a leather wipe (mr Sheen, other leather wipes I'm sure are available), oak seems to look a teenier bit darker.... The wipes have lanolin in them, and they help hide any scuffs or scratches.
