Enjoy your fresh new thread!
We try and archive threads when they reach around 5k plus posts. So the other thread is now closed but for reference can be found here: Mulberry Girl Chat Thread Just a reminder there should be no discussion of what you're selling or anything remotely related. A lot of members tread too close to this line and if you guys love your chat thread then we need to keep it within our rules

Thanks to Kroquet, Ali-bagpuss, Jo and Hula for their comments which I didn't get to reply to before the old thread was closed!
I feel much better having considered all of your advice re my situation and have now come to a decision. Having been reminded of the rules by SwankyMama, I will not disclose my decision here. You will all just have to pay attention to changes in my signature! |

KLP - you made great choices and what a relief! I would have slapped you from across the pond had you decided on not keeping the Elgin!!
My news is not so great. I am being scheduled for my seemingly annual surgery. I hate getting old!! Now, I have to have an ovarian cyst removed. arghhh Started with some little problems and now since my last exam it has changed a little, so the Dr is removing it. Oh well, more time on tpf as I will have a little recovery time. Always try and look on the bright side, right?? lol |

Oh, Kroquet, I'm sorry to hear about your surgery. I suppose it's best to have it removed though if it has changed since your doc last saw you. I think I may have a similar ailment but haven't got my butt to the GP to have it checked out yet.
