Wink Decisions, decisions...Not very good at them!
Due to the unexpected surprise of the factory pop up shop, I'm eyeing up the bronze maggie except I'm not sure about sizing. I like big bags, so the large one wouldn't be a problem for me even though I'm only 5"2. I also like the bronze poppy on ebay atm!

I was planning on using it for everyday shopping or for uni with A4 notebooks and some books in alongwith all my other random stuff like my water bottle. Which one do you think would work better? The large or regular maggie or the poppy?! (The poppy is cheaper :P. I also had a green poppy for a bit and it seemed to fit what I wanted in it). Would the maggie look misshapen with a water bottle in it? I don't want it to look too bulgy especially as it's kind of split into compartments...

Large maggie- Im a complete convert to this bag- never gave them a glance before I got my stone one but it is a fab bag so light and easy to wear- my choc poppy needs more babying imo- but maggie is easy care and fits so much in

do you find the front pocket on the maggie fiddly at all elvisfan? do you have to undo the buckles on the sides as well as the turnlock flap to get into it?

No - mind you I prefer my bradley messenger with similar clasp to an ant as well - I dont undue the buckles as I only keep keys, work pass, train tickets, passport etc in the front pocket since the main compartment is so big. I love the bag for ease and security with big zipper top and it is so lightweight

Can't offer any advice on the Maggie, as I only have the large clutch and that seems to be quite different in style. The bronze would looks gorgeous though and I just took a shine to the green one, after seeing Sara Cox with her's on the Celebrity thread...
Good luck with your decision!

I have a stone maggie & I LOVE it.

The lock broke on mine after about a week, but it was repaired beautifully and has been perfect ever since. I tend not to use that pocket, as the bag is big enough & I also use the zipped pocket for keys & tickets etc.

Would it be possible to return it if it is not how you expected the bag to be?
Have to check if they do returns!

Beat me to it Bev- its a long and quite deep pocket- goes all along front of bag so you can get a lot in and yes just undo the clasp- its very easy not fiddly- and as Bev says no matter how much you cram in it always hangs well

I have a reg Maggie and can say it is my most comfortable and easy to use bag. I highly recommend it and can't fault it's functionality in any way. I'm 5.2 by the way. Also need to point out that I'm not a mulberry employee with all this enabling!

lol well you ladies have convinced me, but honestly i think i can only really afford either the bronze maggie or putty leopard bays. i guess i can always order it and if i don't like it send it back and concentrate on the bays!
