I have an oak daria satchel and a black effie satchel, the one I use the most is the effie, she is just a gorgeous everyday bag and I love the slouchy lived in look she has. This bag is the bag I receive most complements on when I use her. I think it is all down to personal preference and honestly can say I am not disappointed by her quality in the slightest.

I had another look at the fuschia Effie tote in the shop and the leather on that particular one was nice and thick but the handles were so plastiky and a lighter pink colour - don't know why they would ruin a perfectly nice bag in this way
hi,onebagtoomany, i'm new to the forum and was just browsing, couldn't help but notice that you also own a plum alexa hobo bag and having just bought one myself it drew my attention! I got mine from ebay and its gorgeous but i have been slightly worried about its authenticity,i've got the details here and wondered if you or any of the other mulberry girls on here might take a look for me?The seller was ptgbhoy,item#290729787908 and its the alexa hobo in plum. Was mainly worried as the dustbag is brown, not the more reddish brown and a different material to my other dustbag. It has a "made in turkey" label inside and "TG3" on the reverse. Its id number is 1028260. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Blaze, if you post the details on the authenticate thread in the Mulberry shopping sub-forum, one of the brilliant authenticators will have a look at it for you and let you know their thoughts :)

I think the Daria will definitely be easier to match, but the Effie is on sale!!!! and I just love the tooled Mulberry Tree. Do I need both???

I have also attached the brown Effie for good measure.....
Slightly biased but I prefer the Daria which I've got in Toffee and wear all the time. Although the plaque on the Daria is a bit blinged out at first, which I generally shy away from in designer bags, it gives the satchel style a bit of oomph and I love the contrast of the gold.
