Default Calling all Irish Mulberry fans!
I finally made it to HoF Dundrum on Saturday to see their current stock and to enquire whether they would ever put on a Mulberry Meet for their Irish customers. I spoke to a lovely lady who is the concession manager and she said that they were discussing exactly that in their last managers' meeting. However, this Irish Mulberry Meet will not take place in Dundrum but in HoF Belfast - good news for the Tpfers up north. I'll try my best and be there...
She couldn't give me a date yet but if you are on the HoF Mulberry mailing list, you will be notified in advance. She mentioned discounts (yay!), champagne and I can't remember the rest because my brain was still stuck on the word "discount"...
They had some nice stock in Dundrum but I couldn't really concentrate as I had my two rugrats with me and the older one (5) kept pawing the clutches proclaiming that she wanted one
They had the coral leopard clutch, RN Bays and E/W Bays, coral print clutch and Bays, lots of Charlies. Oak Mitzy Messenger and Hobo. All the Daria Hobos. Some traditional ones like oak Bays, choc Roxy. Can't remember much more.

Oooh goody! I'll have to pop into Belfast and speak to my favourite SA's, Paula and Claire, about this. They are lovely girls, so helpful and always happy to have a chat.

I'll try and pop in this week and give you an update!

Hello mssw157 & klp0213! I'll pop into Dundrum HoF this week. I THOUGHT I was on their mailing list, i.e., I filled out a form for same ages ago, but I have never received any communications from them... must chase that up. With the current exchange rate, Belfast might be a great option - did she say it'll be before Christmas? Could be a good excuse for a weekend away + Xmas shopping (champagne as well... what more could a Mulberry gal want??)

Sorry, Indiana, I should have asked about the date or even whether they had anything in mind! I just assumed it would be this side of Christmas, as they would be busy with the sales afterwards. Being in there with all these gorgeous bags around me reduced my brain to jelly and DD1 was doing her best to keep my attention on her antics...
I still have some holidays left and would defo take the trip up to Belfast if it was worth it.
KLP - yes, please check with the ladies in your local HoF! Let us know whether you think there's interesting stock; I was told that they can order bags if they don't have it in their current stock. I also wonder whether they would accept mail order from the special evening, if someone can't make it.....

It's so sad that Harvey Nicks in Dundrum have stopped stocking Mulberries... it used to be nice to look in the 2 shops in the same trip. Now we only have HoF & BT's. Or have you seen them anywhere else MSSW?

Last time I was in they had the cerise Somerset range; large & small Bays clutch bags in black wrinkled patent, rouge noir and coral leopard; Bays in rouge noir and black patent; all the Abigail range in all the colours; and all the icons - Roxanne, Bays, Antony, Seth, etc in the classic colours.

Last time I asked them if they could order me something in, I was told that they can't do that. They can only get in what is already on the stock list. Not sure if they will do mail order, but I'll ask them.

Getting really excited for this! I just hope it's on a day when DH isn't working...

No, only those two stockists. Haven't been to BT Dublin in ages; the SAs in there need a personality transplant.

Thanks for all your work mssw. Sounds like fun Not sure I could make it all the way to Belfast as it's a long way from me here in the South West but looking forward to hearing all about it

Great work mssw. I would definitely make the trip. Were you talking to Aoife. She is so nice. They can always order things in if they don't have them. I ordered the "I love mulberry" pin from them last week.

I lasted 10 mins in there last December. None of your warm Irish welcome there! I was sure I was in one in Galway City a few years ago and it was fine?

The Belfast meet sounds good. Wouldn't the rate of exchange be really good there for the ladies from the south? I may try to get over depending on the date. I can get discounted travel on the Stena HSS "Nedboat" between Stranraer and Belfast. I'll try and resist spending all my pennies on the puggies!

cmaec - yes, was talking to Aoife. She's lovely! I'll have to go again soon as I wanted to apply for a HoF card but forgot to bring all my identification bits...doh!

corries - that would be fab if you could make it too! I have to ask you: what are puggies?

Sorry puggies are fruit machines/gaming machines. I don't know if you have ever been on the HSS between Stranraer and Larne but it seems to have them all over the place.
