Hello

Wonder if you lovely people could help me with this one. I sent off my OS Oak Alexa a couple of months ago to be repaired as the side straps kept popping off and also asked if they could address the 'bubbling' leather on the front left hand buckle strap (pictures attached).

They fixed the side straps which I am pleased about but didn't do anything about my concerns for the bubbling leather.

I've had Alexa for just over a year now and had her fixed under the 12 month warrantee, do you think it's worth asking them to look at the strap again or is this normal for this type of leather?

Lastly does anyone know if you send off a repair whether they normally send back the original receipt as mine was missing from my parcel?

Hi, if it's under the strap I don't think I'd be too concerned about unless I thought the "bubbling" might crack open. My own Alexa is being sent of monday for what looks like a blister...don't know if they will do anything about it.

The other I would say is if you sent your original receipt in with your bag I would be demanding it back!

Absolutely agree with DP - Yep I recall the trouble with your blister (on your bag, that is!)...hope you get a positive result.

cornelia87 - you should get this looked at - I think even if the bubbling/blistering doesn't look about to split - this sort of thing really shouldn't happen with such a luxe brand - esp now both of you have had similar issues with same bag and similar leather - we don't want this happening to anyone else, and surely it is an indication that the leather may be susceptible to this particular problem - so maybe Mulb QC should look into it? Just my thoughts......
