You can never have too many red bags!!!
Love red bags, they are so versatile and match every colour. The Del Rey has stunning leather but can only be worn handheld which is a bit limited for my use. Not a fan of the Dorset either. I almost bought a Cherry Bays in Harrods last week during their 10% off weekend, but stoopid Mulberry pulled the new collection from the offer, claiming they had not yet arrived ( but they had them in on the Thursday before!)
The black forest is more muted/brown than the conker that was a deeper burgundy imvho.
A cherry Bays tote would be wonderful

I always think of the black forest gateau and the cherries on the top (am on a diet atm and would love a piece yum!)

I have had an email from Rebecca Groom herself! All the black forest bags are now on the website so for me its a choice between Bays, Del Ray or Dorset tote. Hope I get to a store soon although I have to be realsitic, it may be some time before I can get one. Although I have a bit of an obsession I've had 3 bags already this year. My ideal would be the white Dorset tote for the summer (ha ha) and then the black forest Bays for the winter.

I Talked to mulberry Cs before about the black forest and there will be no more bags in this color than the ones presented. I absolutley adore the color and I am going to buy something in it for sure

Thank goodness none of your gorgeous bags were in the vicinity at the time! - but could've been a great test for the waterproofing (in this case, brain-proofing) qualities of Colonil!!!!....hehe...

I do wish they did Lily in Black Forest, BUT without the tassels and the rivets!!

Hi! I'm glad I found this thread...I'm in love with black forest smooth matte leather and have now seen it irl (Bayswater). I really really want it soon!

However, I just saw a tPF member's photo of her black forest Del Rey + red onion Bays bag and as suspected, I love the black forest Del Rey...I want both. Is it silly of me to wish list both bags in the exact same colour/leather? The BF Del Rey is not in stock locally (only black + light deer) but you never know!?

well you could argue one is shoulder and one is hand held but I think you should get a different colour in the Del Rey.

Hello - yea, I know what you're saying. The black Del Rey is a close second and I have never seen the Petrol Del Rey so maybe that is an option? Oh well, I can only do one at a time anyway

Contrast of soft matte black forest bays with conker grainy SBS - very little difference in colour. Big difference in leathers.
