Default Bayswater or Prada cervo tote?
I posted this on the prada site as well, but I'm trying to decide between the bayswater and the cervo tote for a work bag that can withstand my daily commute, last for years, and hold my laptop. I'm don't really take great care with my bags, so I'm interested in your experiences. Are these two of equal quality? Will they both age with grace? Thanks!

Both are ideal for what you want it for. I had the cervo satchel and it was divine. It's a tough call....

I don't know about the quality of the leather etc because I don't own Prada but I prefer bayswater just because I think it has a more interesting style and I think when it age and a bit beat up it will look even better... but I have to say because you mentioned you're going to carry laptop and loads of other stuff in it... bayswater is very heavy once you put things in it... I don't mind it a bit though because I usually carry the whole house with me...

which cervo tote are you looking at specifically? There are so many variations and most of them are very seasonal.

If you can wait, go for Prada because like I said..a specific design/color is seasonal and once it's gone, you won't get it anymore. Bayswater classics will always be there.

Can you be patient and wait for the new style Alexa to appear?
That way, you have the option of a strap that will make the bag much more useful.

Honestly, I can't imagine putting in a laptop in my Bays....TOO HEAVY to hand carry!!!!
The Bays will age nicely.......BUT, you know - there's very little "organizational" features inside the Bays......
