Could be also useful to ask for the product code from the barcode tag, probably beginning with two letters, such as HH etc.
Thanks. The first auction was removed, and I asked for pics of the second. Anyway she states that she lost the padlock - I think I'll go for a brand new Bayswater

bemavis, the bag in your photos looks like a fake. It looks just like one I unwittingly purchased on ebay. It has that same weird orangey sheen and it doesn't look like it has the stitching to hold the inner pockets down so you can't lift them all of the way up.

mgdinosaur - the poppy looks good. It is a 'retail special' which means it is made only for the factory shop and outlets and not available in the full price stores. Most of the retail special bayswaters are made without feet and have no hanging keyholder with padlock and keys. However, the poppy is a very striking colour and rio is not so prone to marking so easily as darwin.

Superem, I have never seen one of those models before, and the small photos can't be seen clearly. However, the Chloe she is selling is not even a good fake, so that's probably the answer.

Need your help again what do we think of these two bayswaters? These all finish today so any advice would be great:

330156621276 - difficult to tell, and what a lot of disclaimers in the listing - I would imagine that she has had items pulled off ebay before. I think it is fake, she sold an Annie far too cheap that also looked fake to me.

330156550611 - Gosh, some of these listing are getting difficult to authenticate. The seller is not using all their own pictures, the close up of the lock plate is one that I have seen used by other sellers. That in itself of course does not mean the bag is a replica, the seller just could be lazy and can't be bothered to take their own photos. The oak kenya bayswater they sold also had the front photo which was not their own. They have also sold the same black bayswater previously, or at least they have used the exact same photos. When the photos of the actual bag are not used, it is virtually impossible to authenticate, as you don't know what you are getting. Personally, I would stay clear.

Re post # 89 I agree - the 'vanilla darwin' does not look right to me.

Also am sure the piccadilly is a fake - sorry

Hi, I'm new to Mulberry and hoping you can tell me if this Roxanne is authentic or not. I already purchased the bag, and I think it may be a fake but I'm hoping you can confirm one way or the other. TIA!

ahertz, There's something wrong with the leather. Not sure is it in camera or bag. Should it be darwin?
