Default Mulberry elgin - the saga continues
Update on the elgin!

Hi guys thanks for all your messages so far. I got the bag from the seller this morning. I've taken a load of pictures. Could you please tell me whether you are still suspicious or think it's ok? I don't know whether maybe her pictures were just really bad. Is it possible that in some bags the mulberry tag is lower down from the zip in others? This bag also doesn't have a serial number, though I have heard there doesn't always have to be one.

I went into the mulberry shop in any case any they said they're happy to take a look, and can either decide in store or send the bag off to repairs where they can authenticate it, so that's good.

I'd really rather it were really though as it looks pretty...

Ninja - I agree with Mulberryforever, however the photos are not close up enough to see any grain or texture differences. Unfortunately, sometimes there is just something that overall does not seem quite right, without there being anything specific.

crazy - I thought that the interior label on the Anthony was actually a label on a piece of leather (probably not explaining this very well), whereas the one in this listing is just one complete piece of leather. The tree in the corner also looks oversized. Perhaps someone else could confirm and give a third opinion.

m_belle - Few issues from my point of view I am afraid - namely, as previously advised the label is too low, the zipper pull is garangtuan, and the font on the interior label is incorrect and mis-sized.

How does this Antony look? There are more pics, if that would help.

Thanks, ladies!

Thanks so much for looking again Jazzyjay. It does seem to be lower than other bags I've seen on here. Also there's no "Made in..." tag anywhere which i hear is necessary for genuine bags? Such a shame :-(

The shop said when they've sent it off they can issue a letter saying they believe it's a replica which I'm hoping should be ample evidence to get a refund.
