The first rose bayswater is definitely genuine, as is the second. Regarding the issues raised by urologist, unfortunately most of those stated are incorrect and common misconceptions. The tree on some of the hanging key holders is raised, some are depressed and again some have the tag and disc (if there is a disc) on the pockets and some have it on the opposite side. The pictures are of the same bag, but I think they may have been taken in different lighting conditions, so perhaps not all at the same time, but you can clearly see the bag is the same from the grain etc.

JazzyJay and Beejerry, thanks! I only brought those points up because those were things shown to me by SAs in the past--but again, I am not an expert at all on this (and it looks like some of these things can vary a bit between bags, as JazzyJay pointed out), so I'm glad you spoke up. So happy we have this board so we can all learn something!

That is part of the 'beauty' of Mulberry items that they vary so much, but it can make authenticating them quite difficult on occasion. Also, I have found that some Mulberry staff are also uncertain on some issues, especially the newer or younger ones who maybe don't have so much experience of the entire range. I have often noticed that they also don't know the Mulberry names for some of the colours and when I have asked for a specific model, sometimes they don't even know which item I mean.

The photos are very dark, but even so, the bag appears to be genuine.

^^ I agree. I think it is genuine however it also looks quite worn, though this may not bother you. I am just a perfectionist!! Good price though!!

Thanks!
I also have never seen it in these colours and in the York outlet shop you see a lot of sample pieces. I can't put my finger on it exactly but I am not sure.

Thanks RachelA. The bag looks very different for the color combo. I am not going to bid, I've still in love w/ my rose Bayswater.

Although the photos are large, they are not particularly good, but the bag doesn't look right to me, particularly the grain of the leather.

Not sure about this and I wouldn't risk it.

Also no Paypal and therefore limited protection
