The effie looks good, not quite sure what the sticker type label is underneath the interior Mulberry label.

The first and the third looks good to me, but the second looks way too stiff in the leather. Notice the flaps that hold the D-ring where a strap can be attached? These should look heavy and hang straight down because of the weight of the leather :) |

hi JR , sometimes shops do keep the store tags , its really annoying , not unknown . There is a shop near me that does that , i have asked them to me keep them previously, but if its in a sale they won't .

Jaruprapa - both look good to me.
Mulberry at Brompton Road refused to give me the store tags once, so I walked out and went to the Bond Street store and bought the same items there complete with tags. |

Sorry, I am quite new to this but I was under the impression that the zipper inside is supposed to close from the right to the left, that is if the zipper is closed, the "thing" is on the left side. If I am right the second one is fake, too....am I wrong? I do agree, however, that it looks very genuine... /Bettina |

Would a kind soul authenticate these Mulberry Roxanne bags for me please?
Pink (ish) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=004 Cream http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=011 Chocolate brown http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=001 Are Mulberry bags highly faked? And what is a reasonable price to pay for a second hand Roxanne on ebay? Thanks!

Jenz - I don't think the first one is genuine, although it doesn't look bad, but doesn't look quite right. Also, when looking at the sellers completed items, they have sold a phoebe, using exactly the same photos for £185 on a buy it now on 9th September, and now has another one listed again. Unless someone was desperate for the cash, they are not going to sell a genuine phoebe for £185, and then have another one exactly the same in the cupboard.
The second phoebe is fake. Pepsi, most zips run right to left but not all, so that cannot be used exclusively for authentication. When I initially replied to the question regarding that particular bag, I said I was not sure about it. I remain unsure, and am not convinced by it. choccy - the first one doesn't really have enough pictures (only one) but from that one, it looks ok. The vanilla looks good. Difficult to tell from the photos of the chocolate, although the font on the interior Mulberry label does not look right. Yes, the most popular of the Mulberry models are highly faked. The price depends on the condition and the market fluctuates depending on the time of year also. If you look at the completed listings on ebay in highest price order first, you will get an idea of what to expect to pay currently. |
