I think this is fake, I'm afraid. The stitching on the central zip tab doesn't look right. I'm attaching a photo of my own oak Emmy, bought direct from Mulberry. The stitching forms an "M" shape at the top of the tab whereas yours appears to finish in a point.

Perhaps someone else can confirm this, though?

What do you say about this one? Supposedly a Bayswater "Croco". Seller only posted these two photos.

well the tree on the metal disc doesn't look right, does it? It's kind of blue? Maybe that's the fault of the camera.

a_p, the Annie looks authentic to me, I saw one with a lined pocket at Nordstrom. And I remember some members recommending this seller. Please wait for the experts.

anna, the 'croco' bag, what skin type and colour does the seller say it is? I see it doesn't have a hanging key holder, does the listing mention if it has feet? I am unsure from those two photos, can you tell me how I check the seller's other and completed items please?

a_p, yes the annie is genuine. I know the seller and she only sells genuine stuff, mostly lightly used.

Please do not take 'guides' as gospel. I have read some which have many inaccuracies and generalisations. Each Mulberry item is different, so it is best to do exactly as you have done and ask for a second or third opinion.

For example, most guides will advise that zippers should run right to left and if they don't then the item is a fake - that is not the case, most zippers run right to left, but some run the other way, it is more common in the older models, but some current ones run that way too.

thank you jazzy and beejerry! i see the average final price of her items to be in the 600$ USD range so it does seem to be the real thing. i saw others where it was sooo cheap that i wasn't sure

for example. i was looking at this elgin tote. i emailed the seller (ie NO feedbacks and new member = worry alarm bells!) to see why it was so cheap, he said due to wholeseller prices.

***wait it got removed!! i wonder why! lol ***

how about this annie? there was only 1 pic provided, but it looks real. if it comes down to it, i think i will buy from the other ebay seller because you guys know that she sells good stuff!

This seller seems genuine to me . Good feedback, plus all the bags he/she sells are those currently onsale in the outlet stores.

Only thing to bear in mind when buying from this seller is that they are obviously making some kind of markup on their bags - eg the bronze Bayswater is currently selling at £346 in the outlet and is listed with this seller for £395/£415; the chocolate Alana is £247 in the outlet, £295/£320 with this seller. However, if you're overseas and can't get the outlet to ship to you, then this seller seems like a good choice. If you are in the UK, it's worth phoning the outlets to see if they've got any Black Emmys in stock - they'd be £297 if they have them and shipping is around £7.50.
