I always go looking for 'made in' tags. In theory, it shouldn't matter - all my Mulberries have been of the same high standard. From memory, Poppy, Lily and Bays clutch are English. Milton is Turkish, so is Alexa clutch. Mabel is Chinese.
I, like others, definitely hope for fair treatment for workers. I went through a phase in which I bought nothing Chinese-made (if you ever want to curtail your spending, try that).
I do feel extra pleased when it turns out my new purchase was made in England. That does feel special. I can imagine a day when no more Mulberries are produced in England and wouldn't the English ones be precious then?
