I am a little confused about the different sizes that the Alexa is going to come in and I want to make sure I order the right one when they are finally released, that is if I can talk my DH round and the price isn't ridiculous!

So from reading other posts I know there is a small and a large, but does anyone know the actual dimensions? TIA!!!

If not the dimension does anyone know the size of the one Alexa Chung has been carrying? It looks roughly the same size as a Bays. Is this the small or large Alexa?

On the Mulberry Facebook page they called the one Alexa has been carrying the oversized Alexa.

My SA told me that the large Alexa is going to be between Bays and Piccadilly, and the small Alexa between Bays and Ledbury. Hope this helps!

Yes, the large will be slightly bigger than the bays, at least in height. Think the SA told me about 32cm? The bays is 26,5cm. The small one is prob more like the E/W bays in width but taller.

Was told Mulberry here in Oslo will show their Spring collection on the 17th, so looking forward to finally see the Alexa and some other lovelies then. Haven't made my mind up on the Alexa yet.

They have got four people on waiting list. Not many compared with elsewhere I guess, but still I was a bit surprised.

Was talking to Aoife in HoF today and she seen the Alexa IRL last week The oversized Alexa is going to cost €1000.This is the one the same size as the bayswater, The Alexa Is smaller looking than the E/W bays and will cost €850(I Think). Better start saving!!!

Thanks for clearing that up,Cmaec. The sizes start to confuse me but I think I'm going to stick with the oversized one as it is really the size I'm after.

Thank you everyone for your help! I think I want the large one then, but I'm a bit worried it will be too big if it's bigger than the Bays! I'm so confused what to do!!! I suppose the best thng is to wait and try them both out for size!

I saw the oversized Alexa today! In the (darker) brown with leopard print in buffalo leather. OMG, it was gorgeous - soooo much nicer than on the pics! The leather was buttersoft and lovely distressed. Absolutely gorgeous.

I'm also converted into an Alexa lover now. Think I must have this bag. The one I saw was a sample bag. I will see this again and the one in oak colour next week on their Spring pre-view. I just had to have a peek at this one, since I was in the city and knew they had it in. Can't wait to see the oak one. Might be a tough choice.

The size was very similar to a bays, slightly taller, but it's so soft, so doesn't really seem any bigger. Liked the look of carried as a messenger too.

The other bag that caught my eye, was the leopard Bays clutch!

OMG, I want, I want! But it was pricey... and considering my purchases this Autumn, I don't think I can justify another such an expensive bag. They're not taking it in either, so have to order it. Maybe it will be in the sale, since it's quite special - re the print and hair calf?? Saw the pics of the leopard bays, but think the clutch is nicer in this version.

That Alexa bag in brown leopard is on my wishlist, the smaller size though but it seems kind of expensive...

It's actually got a light brownish colour on the pocket under the flap, you don't see that very well in the pic. That is partly why I liked the clutch better than the reg bays (although haven't seen the bays irl), the two different colour parts looked better on the clutch (IMO).

Did you manage to try the handle as well? Was the handle really flimsy? I'm actually thinking to carry it by the handle more like a man's briefcase, rather than as a satchel. Omg, I WANT THE OAK ONE!!! PLEASE GIVE ME THAT OCERSIZED OAK one and no one would be harmed.
