Wow, gutted I didn’t see this before

My sister went though Heathrow a couple of weeks ago. Mulberry had “a few” plaster pink items in the sale I wanted.
I phoned to ask if they would reserve till the following day even offered to pay but they refused. Were not very helpful at all!!!! Said they couldn’t put sale stock by even for an hour!!! Now when I go into this link I see you I would have got a further 20% off sale items I have already purchased.

Mind you I did well; my sister got all that I wanted. She said none of the items were on display, really weird. No wonder they have so much sale stock left. She did also say I could weigh her down with loads of hand bags which I very much wanted to do

Thanks for this brilliant link I will keep it for next time..............although sadly I mostly fly from Gatwick. I will be far more eager now to make the longer journey to Heathrow

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a black SBS at Heathrow in a couple of weeks but I am wondering if I should wait until I get to Dubai to see if it's cheaper. I have called Heathrow and they said I would get 17% off RRP which is great but I want the best deal so should I hold out? If anyone has any experience of Dubai duty free I would be most grateful.

I just got the ink silky snake bayswater from Heathrow Terminal 1. The shop is quite small. They didn't have it out so I asked and they had two put away! Strange as it's new collection but there you go. So definitely ask, they don't put everything on display.

I am travelling through Heathrow in a few weeks time, and am desperate to get a Bayswater in oak. Does anyone know if they always carry these, or whether I can pre order etc? I only have 75 mins to get between flights (between T1 and T4) and have no idea if that leaves long enough to shop in between (and my family would not be understanding if we missed our connection due to handbag shopping ).

Thanks!

Sallylou I saw that you are coming to NY too. I think the prices at Heathrow will be much better. I live in NYC where the tax is almost 9 percent, and so if I buy the Dorset tote I want here, it will be $595 plus another $50 on tax. Heathrow will be tax free.

Good luck! I purchased a Oak Cookie bays a few weeks ago and I am madly in love with it.

hi morejunkny, thanks for this. The price at Heathrow is about £579, but another member told me the price for the Bayswater in oak at the Mulberry stores in NY is $1200 so clearly much cheaper here in UK!

I hope you find lots to buy in your few minutes at Heathrow! I think the US prices account for import duty and then on top of that we have to pay federal and state sales tax. I am traveling to the UK next week and hope to find some Mulberry while there!

Has anyone been to the Mulberry in Terminal 5? I'll be there in three weeks and want a Lily. The Heathrow site has the Glossy Goat which you can can pay for now and reserve but I wonder if they have a big selection there and it's best to wait? The green colour is nice and different but I think a darker colour would suit my tastes

There is an email on the website that you can use to contact them and reserve different stuff. My DH was able to reserve my petrol Daria pouch although black was out of stock. Fortunately they had new stuff come in the morning he went and so he was able to get the black pouch as well.

Good luck.

with the tax free and the exchange rate it works out about the same - but then you always get stung on the exchange rate offered by your CC provider and if they charge you for the conversion as well it ends up coming out a lot more expensive. It's not worth the hassle and the risk of you getting stopped at customs on your way home!

Hi,

The website being referred to is the mulberry.com website.....the airport does not have a separate one, but if you go to the store locator page:

http://www.mulberry.com/storelocator...ingdom/london/

The contact details for each of the terminals are given and you can contact them to find out stock, etc....
