That's scandalous, as eBay are profiting from all the fakes!

I just wanted to post - thank you again for all of your kind words and thoughts.

Louis went to the Royal Dick Vet College yesterday - Feline Centre - which is fabulous. Within an hour
of my leaving him - he was having an ultrasound and the 'mass' aspirated. It appeared to be Lymphoma.

There was the possibility of Chemo - however, his bone marrow had basically all gone, he had no neurofils
left, his red blood cells were at 11.5 and he had no platelets. He had a temperature of 104.9 and was basically
- later this afternoon thought to be in septic shock - or bordering on it.

Three Professors looked at him, his case notes and thought that whilst Chemo was a possibility - given the
condition Louis was in - the fact that he had no defences at all - it would - in all probability - not work - or would
turn out badly. They did however, offer the possibility - albeit it couldn't start until tomorrow - because of his
veins - and there was a high possibility that he might not actually survive the next 24 hours.

Given everything - and the prognosis - possibly 7 - 9 months if Chemo were successful - and given that he was
so compromised his changes of the Chemo being successful was not high - I made the decision to have him put
to sleep. It is the hardest thing I've had to do in my life. My 18 year old son is devastated and has wept inconsolably
since we had the family discussion. We were all agreed that we must do the right thing for Louis - and give him peace.
The College said he was in some discomfort and had given him pain relief - I am sure that we have made the right
choice for our boy - and the memories we have of him will last forever. He gave us much joy - and now he will give
joy to those who meet him in the next world. He'll be waiting at Rainbow Bridge -

He comes home today- to be buried under a large tree in the garden - where we can watch him and he can watch
over the things he loved - the birds, the squirrels and butterflies.

Oh no that is so sad but it sounds like you did the best for him and allowed him to suffer no longer, that's a very brave decision for you. I hope he's happy in his new world

Oh Lescoy - I just shed a wee tear there Im so sorry for your sad news.

I had to do the same thing with a Dalmation dog we had .. it literally IS the worst thing to have to do .. pets are members of your family afterall. We knew it was for the best though & no matter how much we cried, we knew he was no longer in pain & that meant a lot, as he had really suffered.

I went to see a medium just after my dad died .. & she said to me "Oh, you had a dog didnt you? Something ending in 'ation' .. Alsation? .. NO DALMATION. I was trying to work out what your dad was telling me. He's up there with your dad & he's running around chasing things" She then told me his name was William .. which it was. OK I probably sound a bit cuckoo now - but it made me feel better on SO many counts.

Huge to you ... I feel so sad for you now

Oh & dont worry about the ebay thing - that can wait!!

piglet42 - Fantastic facility for sure. Unfortunately for Louis it didn't work out - but I do have faith in them - no question. Whatever is needed is available MRI, CT, Transfusions everything - its the BEST place.

Thanks for all of your good wishes - I appreciate them deeply.

Hopefully I'll be able to get back on track - these Fakes are the bane of my life - with Chloe ones and the Mulberry ones - its just ridiculous - EBay need to clean up their listings.

LovingMyMulberry - God no - you don't sound cuckoo - you sound normal!

I think that we need to have it in our heads that there is something further on for us all. You know - I believe that - I think we must all hold on to that hope.

You know - I watched the News last night - I try not to - and I saw those 8 hearses - those soldiers - and whilst we are grieving for Louis - what must those families be going through right now? I can't imagine. I don't want to get into politics or anything like that - but the loss of life - what for? Why? It just seems so wrong - I think that gave me a little guidance last night - we think things are bad for us - but we have no idea what others are going through.

As for EBay - its becoming ridiculous. You know - initially there were a lot of Chanel J12 watches and Chopards being listed - fakes - now there are none - so how is it? I need to look further into this whole reporting thing - and see if there isn't some other way we can try and rid EBay of these fakes.

I dont think Ive EVER been described as NORMAL You have made my day

I know what you mean about the news - I try not to watch it but I did watch last night in bed & I cried so hard for those soldiers & their families. I cant imagine what they must be going through - & all for what - political NONSENSE. A few of them were in the same platoon as my ex - 2nd Battalion The Rifles (they used to be the Royal Green Jackets). Although things ended badly between me & him, I still feel SICK to the stomach whenever I hear of anyone in the army being killed.

Those guys were all SO YOUNG too - it is heartbreaking

(That has just reminded me .. the medium brought him up too. She said about him being in the army, how we split up etc etc & then said "He's going to pop up & let you know that he loves you still & cant stop thinking about you". I was like "YEAH RIGHTO" as he wasnt a lovey dovey kinda guy. The next night, I was on MSN chatting to a friend & up he popped - he wasnt on my list but I was obviously still on his - & he asked how I was then said "I still love you y'know & I miss you so much. I cant stop thinking about you". I almost fell off the chair - we hadnt spoken in about 2 & 1/2 years!!)

So Im glad you get comfort knowing that your wee baby has gone somewhere better, where he can no longer feel pain

Sorry for the O/T ... !

As for ebay - Id love to have your secret reporting tool believe me! I spend WAY too much time online & now kinda made it my mission to report the fakes, as Ive been stung too many times. I dont want others to go the same way! I emailed ebay about it - they said - use the reporting link on the page - so I did - AGAIN (for about the 4th time on each item!) - then I emailed them & said HELLO THEY ARE STILL THERE - to which they replied - ok report them all in one go - you can do 10 at a time - which I did - they are still there

Might send Mulberry an email with all the links - let them challenge ebay about it!!

^^ I am going to try and look into this with EBay - something has to be done - its becoming ridiculous - and worse still - the sellers are so adamant their bags are real. Joe Public believe most of what is written in the listings - which is sad - and in truth - most of them even when they receive a fake either don't know or don't care. Its the prices that some fakes sell for - its outrageous -
