Default Lowering Grocery Bills...

http://finance.yahoo.com/expert/arti...neyhappy/86082

I know someone asked about the Grocery Game, which is mentioned here. Lots of good tips, but it seems like a steep learning curve...otherwise, as one lady interviewed in the article relates, "You end up with a grocery cart full of air freshener, frozen waffles, and cat food...."

Thanks for posting this article. It looks exhausting to me and I simply don't have the time to chase down bargains.

What I DO do, is shop mindfully. I think planning your family's week's worth of meals, and not buying extra stuff, is a good way to begin shopping well. I am buying small quantities of fresh fruits & vegies, using them up and going to the store again to stock up. I've tried shopping for the week, and it doesn't work.

Becoming vegetarian and drinking less alcohol has cut way back on my grocery bill.
