I have a Capital One High Yield Money Market that gives me 3% as well. The transfer time is the same, about 2-3 days, but it is not a problem for me. I have been thinking about opening and ING account but am not sure.

A friend of mine uses ING and he loves it!

I also just opened a electric orange checking and savings account about 3 weeks ago and so far, I love it. I have decided to separate my personal spending from my bill spending so i use the electric orange for the personal spending and my external account for bill paying.

I just opened up a Wachovia 1 yr CD for 4.25% It's a promotional CD - the 4.25% promotion is supposed to end Friday.

I don't have an ING account, I use USAA, but I've heard good things about ING, Emigrant, and HSBC, all of whom have competitive rates.

But all you American ladies have handbag sales that make us jealous, and you get all the latest designs first, so we are allowed to have cute animals

I'll stop hijacking this thread now, sorry.

^^ haha, you're very funny!

Back to money topic... guess what? I was browsing on multiple banking services last night and found HSBC has the highest online savings right now. They offers 3.5% of interest!! Well, lets excludes Australian on this one OK since they get whooping 8% on ING! For USA is GREAT... what do you guys think?

I've had my ING account since 2005 and I love it. I have my "new house" fund and emergency fund there.
