Last year my husband bought a bunch of electronics from a computer store chain (can't remember exactly which one, so don't want to mention any possibilities), on black Friday. He gave them to himself, me, and the kids for Christmas. They all had rebates. He tucked the rebate forms away, and a couple of days after Christmas, took them out to send them in. He discovered they had expired 10 days after black Friday. He blew a gasket and went to the store to talk to the manager, because most of the purchases people made that day were probably for Christmas presents, and to make these rebates expire long before Christmas was ludicrous. He got his rebates, which were several hundred dollars, all totalled.

My husband is very good about dealing with rebates. Me... not so much.

Oooh. I'm a stickler for rebates so I send them in right away. It was like when I purchased my MacBook Pro, I sent in the rebate forms ASAP for my iTouch before I touched the actual thing. It feels nice to save money. :)
