Default Discover Card

Anyone have the Discover More card? Can you use this card at a lot of places? I currently have a citi bank master card and bank of america visa.... I rarely use either. I am looking for a 0% interest rate card.

I do not have one - they bombard me with junk mail. I swear every other day I get something from them - their interest rates are ridiculous.

I have Discover card with the 0%. It's pretty good and they actually have a pretty good rewards program...better than Chase IMO. It's accepted it a lot of places so you don't need to worry about it. Good luck!

Discover is as widely accepted as AMEX. Most places accept it, but some don't. I have a backup mastercard just in case.

I love my Discover Card....depending how much money you put on your card depends on how much you get back with their Cash Back program.

I pay my bill off every month, but I use it for everything, and I love it. And then, every month, they have a different "special" where you get 5%...for awhile, it was groceries, so I would buy both my roommates and my groceries, and she would just write me a check so I could get the points.

I've gotten almost $200 back this year and I got the card around May? So, it's really great...plus if you do a lot of online shopping (like I do.) they have great deals. For example, you get 10% CashBackBonus when you shop at Sephora.

It's really great. They have a new card out called the Motiva (sp?) card, that if you pay your card on time, they give you the interest earned as cash back...which ....would be a 0% interest card...but I don't really know how that works, since I don't have that one....I'm sure that there is some fine print, but it would be worth looking into.

I love my Discover.

All credit cards bite... most have universal default clauses which means they can change your terms and conditions if you are late on ANY bill, whether a credit card or not... and they usually raise the rate to the highest "default" rate of more than 30% in some cases... it should be against the law... but as long as people keep using credit and letting the banks stick it not only to you, but .... you get the picture.... nothing will change. GET RID OF THEM! If you have to put it on a credit card, you can't affiord it.

GET RID OF THEM! If you have to put it on a credit card, you can't afford it. Don't get caught up in sales. Unless you were already planning to buy it, you are not "saving" anything. You are spending... I get so annoyed when people say I bought it because it was on sale for half price. So what? if you bought a $100 item for $50. You had not planned on buying the item, but you got taken in by mother greed. If you had not bought the $50 item, you would have $50 for your LV fund, or your Hermes fund...

I have one and have had no problem with it. I use credit cards as a convenience to not carry cash. I typically pay it all off when the bill comes or have scheduled payments based on my spending habits (ex. paying $300/wk). Credit cards are not a problem it is the misuse of credit cards when you know you don't have the money nor means to pay them properly.

They also give cashback rewards and other stuff.
