What color bow do you have?

WHAT PROBLEMS HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED/ARE EXPERIENCING WITH IT?

I hope future bow owners find this thread helpful also, and for those who are experiencing sadness from these problems with our bows

I shall begin with my experiences and problems..

I went through 2 different bows before keeping the bow I have now (the one with the ink stain and fallen M letter.) I never toke pictures of the 2nd bow.. but it had tons of SEALANT CRACKS and SCRATCHES on the leather.. it was TERRIBLE.. I believe it must have been "used".

My first bow had these problems.

As you can see.. there's another scratch/cut on the leather and more sealant cracks.. but I've come to realize like other bow owners.. the sealant cracks are UN-AVOIDABLE~

The 2nd bow I recieved had .. well SO MANY sealant cracks and A FEW scratches/cuts on the leather that I didn't even bother taking pictures of and immediatly boxed her up to send back to Saks.

NOTE: I toke these pictures from my zipper's BEGINNING to END. So all the following pictures ARE NOT THE SAME! There are sealant cracks ALL ALONG THE ENTIRE BAG!

This looks like this is the "old" bow, is that correct? The lambskin and the gold hardware? Now, let me say, I too could live with these cracks, it would be easier to do on a darker color bag, the lighter color might bother me a little bit more but overall, if it didn't get much worse, that would be "fairly" okay. But the missing "M" would drive me crazy. I would return it for that as it would be so distracting for me. Funny how everyone is different. I'm so sorry you've had three bows though!

Yup, this is the old version of the bow. It doesn't have the new glazed layer like the new bows such as akat's.

The fallen "M" has been driving me insane all day.. since yesterday.

I doubt I can return it.. but I am definetly going to give my SA a call.

Oh dear! There are so many sealant cracks in your bow!! See my previous bow too My battled 'bow'

Its terrible isn't it, the quality of miu. But so far, both my new bow and my shopping satchel is doing fine. (fingers crossed) Previously, my SA said it is part of usage hence the cracks are unavoidable. Perhaps the only way to prevent is to bring it to a bag specialist and have the sealants reinforce to prevent futher tearing.

Yikes!!

What happened? Did you find the missing M?

This is terrible. I've been carrying my coffer a lot and so far she is still pristine. My bows are also okay...some minor cracks on the sealant but so far so good. Now I'm really worried about my bow.

The missing M is unacceptable. I really doubt that Saks can find you a replacement at this time. But let us know what they say.

linpaddy! I haven't seen/heard from you in ages! How are you?

Well, the fallen "M" happened yesterday.. while I was shopping.. [my alluminio " IU MIU" bow satchel :'(] Luckily, I was inside the fitting room and I happened to place my bow down and heard a CLANK, looked around and found the M of my MIU MIU logo from my bow.. laying hopelessly right there..

I'm trying to make myself feel better by telling myself "atleast you found the M". lol

I doubt I can find another alluminio too..

im freaking out while reading all these posts regarding BOW problems..i might as well return the bow...cuz as "annaversary" said, if u cant live with the cracks or fallen letters, return it...altho I REALLIE LOVE IT..i guess i can always tell my relative to get it for me when they come to toronto from hk, it is 200 smth dollars less...
