The sealant cracks are just always going to happen, I think it's because of way the bag is designed, you do open and fold that piece of the bag all the time, so the plastic sealant will eventually start breaking...

Unfortunetly, they don't have a great repair dep.

okay so wasnt sure if i should i post this on here or "all about bow" or somewhere else. so I'm going to just post it here. so question...i just got my bow in astro and couldnt wait to use it so can i still spray on the rain/stain repelent? or is it too late? and i just got a bow in the old leather and it isnt new..what do i spray on to protect that? and which kind of leather cleaner should i clean it with? i've been reading about apple garde a lot..will it change the color or texture of bag?

bina, when I called Cruise, the store where I bought my bow from and the SA said to use a clear leather conditional with a soft cloth and water repellent such as waterstop or colonil. She said they often spray the bags with waterstop before they are sold.

Wait for other opinions though

i have a black bow in gold hardware and have been using it for almost everday for 5 months already. The only problem i faced is the gold hardware seems to fade and become silver instead.. :(

Does it happen to all gold hardware. It is very obvious on the zipper area.

i have a black bow with gold hardware. i bought it 5 months ago and it is still in perfect condition. granted, i haven't used it much. i take good care of it and it sits in my closet. it seems so beautifully crafted though, that it's hard for me to imagine anything happening to it even if i used it more often. i haven't noticed any kind of wear on the bows at all.

Bot my ibisco bow during the sale. Used it abt a dozen times so far? The bag doesn't come with sealant cracks, nor does it look like it's going to crack anytime soon.

I have sughero bow from season 1 and zaffiro bow from season 2. Sealant cracks are bound to happen. It's just a matter of time. It's only less noticeable on darker colour bows.

Hi ladies, I'm new to this forum and I'm so excited by all these information that i'm getting...have been contemplating on getting a Miu Miu for the past few months..I was more of a Burberry and LV person before this...but that's before I fell in love with Miu Miu...I am looking at getting a bow satchel as i felt that it's pretty inconvenient to 'dig' my things from the Coffer if i'm carrying it on my shoulder. But now looking at all these issues, i'm worried...

Any updates on the newer bows? anymore of such problems??...

i was lemming for a bow...... but after these post.. i think i'll move on to the big sister Prada , or get vitello lux..

The new Bows are glazed leather and therefore there are less quality issues. If you buy a new season in a dark color you should be fine. I have had mine for about 9 months now, it still looks pristine and the leather ages really well

Had mine for about 6 months and no sealant cracks. However, due to the rubbing of the shoulder strap because the strap just hangs there as I don't wear it messenger style. It rubbed the glazing off the back corner of the "bow" and it turned grey. Not noticeable though unless you look carefully.
