After reading all these threads about quality issues with the bow bag and personally experiencing them myself, I thought it may be useful to summarize what I have found out about the purses.
I have two bows, one from Neiman and the other from Saks.
Neiman is willing to do an exchange/credit. They will even arrange for Fedex to pick up. However, there is a catch. If your bow is a sold out color, they cannot guarantee an exact replacement. Hence, I am seriously debating whether to risk sending my cera bow back. I do not like the talco color and leather and prefer the rich cream leather of the cera.
Secondly, Neiman cannot guarantee that the replacement bow will not have the same quality issues. If you find that your new bow has the same issues, then you will need to go through the exchange/refund route again.
Same with Saks.
Another option is to send your bow in to the respective stores for REPAIR. The stores cannot guarantee the turnaround time.
The last option is to repair your bow yourself. :(
The Saks representative did say that we are NOT the first customers to complain. Apparently, they get all kinds of complaints for all kinds of designer accessories.
Looking at my bow now makes me very sad.
