So, was I was I foolishly naive to have pulled the trigger on this, i.e. do folks think there is any likelihood this might be fake? Purse is beautiful. Notably, however, it came with a white cotton dustbag that is not as thick or felt-like as other Prada dustbags I've come across, like that for my briefcase. It's almost like a linen, although the ties are identical, and it has the 100% cotton label inside.

Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

From what I have read bags sold directly by Amazon.com are good. However you should post pics in "Authenticate this Prada" thread and someone will authenticate for you.

I actually had my eye on that for a while too (decided to go with a new fall season bag instead though). It should be authentic, but as lhasalover said, pics of the bag you received are the only way we can say for certain.

Dear Brentjustus,

I bought tons of pouches and a few nylon bags from Amazon.com (sold directly by Amazon.com) and from what I can see (I'm pretty good when it comes to authenticating Prada Nylon bags - Not Leather), they are all good. I do believe in their authenticity.

Talking about the dustbag, yes, I have a Fanny Bag that comes with the linen-like dustbag (kinda feels as if they have starched them or something), the fanny bag is absolutely 100% authentic.

You can be sure of Amazon.com's authenticity.
