The selection of bags they have most of, are those gorgeous pleated ones (yikes, for life of me, can't remember if they have a "real" name) and especially one in ivory! |

I just got a dark blue denim hobo on BlueFly for $501.00.
Yes, they are legit, I have bought several bags and clothing from them. I have seen posted where people have claimed they have received fake there. Hate to say it, but I believe alot of people are now paranoid because of all the fakes flooding the market. It`s understandable, but large companies which carry several high end designers will not sell a fake. Does anyone know a PROVEN case of BlueFly doing this? Just curious... |

This has been discussed ad nauseum on tPF. A search of the archives will find the particulars, but the punchline is that early in 2006 some fakes slipped into their inventory and got sent out to customers. I believe the only designers were Balenciaga and Chloe. It happens. BlueFly has since begun using security tags to prevent the "bait/switch" from happening. I researched this quite a bit on the Internet and never got any hits except the comments on this board. I even searched up the BBB and State Attorney's Office and found nothing. That being said, I've never had problems and will continue to shop at BlueFly. Those that have run from them only leave the good stuff for the rest of us.
