Hey all,

So I am usually in the Prada forum and saw this Matelesse Shopper from a thread, and have always admired the Coffer (but never had one)....

I LOVE Prada...and love the gaufre, which is quite similar to the above bags, but...really like these two Miu Miu bags...

What are your thoughts on each? I am thinking the Fumo (apparently a darker grey but it looks purple-like in this picture). Also, mommy of two, full time job, and typically like totes, but since both of these bags have a flap like closure, I don't see a big difference. I also like bigger bags, and do have a lot of totes and hobos...

This bag would be used more like an every day bag, and I do like to throw my bags over the shoulder....

From your profile , i'd say, definitely a coffer! :)

It's more roomy and suits to be an everyday bag.. The fumo looks smaller to me.

Anyway, i'm biased towards coffers, hehe.

The Coffers are very convenient. Besides the great look and the messenger styling, the two front pockets allow you to keep keys and a phone in them without ever having to open your bag. Highly recommend the Coffer, but love them both. Coffer of course cos it's Miu Miu's Iconic baG !!! Miu Miu collection will never be complete without a Coffer !! :)

Ryry: you should get the coffer!!!! a classic!! I personaly think the tote will not able to go over your shoulder - it is more an arm candy :)
coffer with the two pockets outside, will keep things within easy reach... - great for your mommy life :)

I love the Shopper when I saw it but have yet to get one. I will when I see a colour I like someday. Of the 2 bags, I think the Coffer is a better option. It is comfy to sling with the braided handles & you get free hands. It is also huge enough to stuff a whole lotta things.

Both bags have an extra messenger strap so they are both great choices!

If you plan to carry your purse messenger style, I highly recommend the coffer because the two front pockets are easily accessible! They enable you to easily find your essentials such as keys and sunglasses!
