Default My bow in Talco turned yellow!
Did anyone have their bow in talco turning yellow? I bought it last Dec, ad only used it for at most 10 times to date! Have kept it in the box all these months and when I took out today, it has turned into an awful shade of yellow! SIGH!

Did anyone else experience this? Am so upset! How do I rid of the yellowish taint???

Is Talco white? I remembered my Astro bow turned yellow slightly previously. It could be the dye (not so sure though)

Perhaps you can bring it back to the store and seek their opinions. Good luck!

where do you live?
I think the bags should be kept in dust bag only vs. in the box (even the Miu Miu box if you have one).... I think the box is not giving enough air for the bed to "breath" and changing the dye colour... but this is jsut a guess...

I had a Talco Interccio before, the only spot that have turned yellow was the underside of handle, where the skin/handle always contact... so the handle was "warmed"

That is easy to fix, really. But you'll have to spend some coin, unfortunately. I had this happen to me and I took it to a shoe repair shop...one that specializes in leather cleaning. They cleaned it up for me or dyed it or something and my bag looked good as new. Look up leather cleaners, upholsterers, etc in your local phone pages...they should be able to help. Also lovinmybags.com is very good, Barbara can work miracles!

My friend owns a Talco and she got it this June... the colour still looks good and she uses it daily... do not think the yellowish taint can be rid of... another alternative is to redye the bag to another dark colour...or you can bring it bk to the boutique to seek help.. GL
