No worries now there is a new Miu Miu boutique in Singapore now at Ion!
I felt that the SA there is much nicer than Paragon IMO

Read thru the comments ,seems like
alot of girls had bad experience. As,for
me,don't know if I'm lucky. so far the Sa I met are has
v gd service. There are two female sa in MM,
their service are the better ones. Samantha and the other
should be an Indian girl (can't remember her name suddenly)I'm not too sure she looks
mix..anw she's the best.friendly and she dun mind
bringing the bags out for me.

Ion staff are actually the same batch from paragon.they shifted to ion

Really loathe some of their rude attitude... sometimes I wonder if they know where they stand !! But I guess not haiz...
In a way, I do agree with you. However, it depends too on the position of the SAs here which do affects on how much they earn. There're some SAs here who do get their items at full price but not necessarily the items they bought over from the luxury brand they worked at. Not to forget, some of our SAs here are friends with SAs from other luxury brands.

Plus, not all the SAs here worked at the luxury brand because they loved the brand though. It's just a job to "some of them". I know because I used to work in the retail industry here but not as a SA though.

Not sure about how much the LV SA pay for her Chanel.

Surprisingly...felt that the services in MM or Prada is quite ok now... the SA from Prada is quite nice as in i only enquire about a bag and she went on suggesting what other colors and fabric it comes in and bring them out for me to try in different colors..didn't change her attitude even when i say i'll look around more

I am sorry to hear about all the bad shopping experiences. :(

It's terrible to be shelling out so much money for something and yet be treated like dirt. The feeling really sucks. I get terrible service all the time too.

Well, remember the phrase: "Your altitude depends on your attitude" or something along this line?

Rude SAs will never go too far in their career life, until they wake up their "rude: ideas.

Default Poor Service at Miu Miu Ion
I have visited the Miu Miu boutiques twice since it opened and each time, I found myself treated by sale people who behaved like "coldfish"!! This is so different from the exemplary service at Miu Miu HK, where they make you feel like you are a valued client, showing you the latest wares, suggesting things you might like...each time, I would walk out with a purchase I would not regret. At Miu Miu here, I have never been encouraged to spend at the boutique cos of the poor, uninterested service. Time to change or upgrade your staff!! Take a leaf from your HK colleagues!!

I haven't tried Singapore branded stores but Prada Melbourne sucks!!

Not all the SAs sucks but particularly one guy called Matthew. I was desperate for a bag and i called to reserve it. When I approached Matthew the next day and told him I was the one who reserved the bag, he was like 'OHH!!' as in... 'Wtf... Asian...' or 'Wtf... Small kid...'. We Asians tend to look younger (TOO BAD!!).

He brought my bag, didn't seemed to be too excited to sell it and gave me wrong information regarding other bags. He spelled my name wrongly 10 times (no joke) even though I said 'My name is MAY. As in April, MAY, June.' and he goes 'OHH' and goes on spelling MEY, MAI, MEI. My friend decided to type it for him and he deleted it after my friend left. He then proceed to THROW my credit card on the table and printed my receipt. Such a nice guy...

However, not everyone in Prada is that terrible. I met this cute Singaporean SA who was happy to comment, give advice and it made me feel super comfortable. Unfortunately, MATTHEW got the commission, not her. Sheesh...

oh dear so sorry to hear this louuusssy service from Mathew !! And yes i agree about the coldfish attitude cos i still see it from the SA in ION Singapore. I guess the SA's really judge a lot on the customer's outlook eg..what they wear and what bags they carry or if the customers look like if they can afford it etc... Little do they expect that the genuine byrs are normally those that dress very casually. I'm in the fashion industry before and I realized the low profile ones R the ones that buy off the rack !!

Sometimes the younger generation in fact can afford better than the older ones.

I guess these SAs are really not doing their homework !! But generally regardless if the customers will ultimately purchase or not... as SAs... they still have to provide best service to upkeep the reputation of the Brand !

jenleetay & M.May - cool it.. take it as they R just a bunch of immature kids that needs growing up..
