I stupidly did! I'm usually very careful, but I saw the bag literally in the last few minutes of the auction ending and got caught up. I asked the seller whether she will refund my money and pay shipping both ways if it is a fake, and she answered yes, it is guaranteed authentic.

The bag came today and I knew for certain it was a fake the second I touched it. The smell of the fake leather (PVC) was so strong that it actually permeated out of the package even before I opened it. Disgusting. I'm so angry with myself. What should I do first? Ask for a refudn or file a SNAD with PP? I'm at a loss....

I would snad and open a dispute right away.. that way they will put a hold of seller's fund right away and PP is made aware of what's going on

Ooohh, don't you just hate that!! As far as which to do first, I would have to suggest that you ask the members in the ebay forum. They really know their stuff there. Would you mind posting the link to the listing here as well. If it's an ebay usa auction, I might be able to help a bit..............

I got it on ebay UK. Its my first time buying a Miu Miu bag and I don't know how I would feel about slouchy leather, so I thought I would start cheap. Didn't expect to be cheated, especially when the seller guarantees the authenticity.

Hi kiki119, thanks for your sound advice, I should have taken it. I was trying to be nice so I wrote to her first without SNAD. Her reply was so smug:
"This bag smells heavily of leather it is so obvious. if you are so sure of your facts you will have to go through ebay which will involve written authentication from a well known source. be my guest..."

I have filed a dispute with ebay. Should I wait for her response or escalate it to a claim? I'm so angry!
