Like what PP said, those bags are from previous season. If you really want that purple bag you posted, then it's best to call around (Saks, NM, some Nordies, and Prada boutiques) and check their stock. Also, keep an eye on ebay and other reliable consignment shops (make sure you have the bag authenticated here first). The Nappa Stripes turned out to be a popular collection and the last time I visited the boutiques, they had very limited stock left (I saw the small handbags, clutches and small accessories - mostly in the multi-color). If your heart is not set on the nappa stripes, then check out the other Prada bags. There are beautiful cervo lux bags that come in deep purple (in several designs). Good luck!

ah, that one; i think PP was very sure it's fake. so, you can count on that.

i personally am not sure, would like to see more photos because the pics are really dark on my computer.

bagpunk, I agree with PP. The leather looks wrong, and the logos... !!!Why don't you ask the seller for close-up pics. The pics posted are just hideous! Has he/she not heard of zoom? I'm always suspicious of sellers posting only stock pics, not enough pics, and no close-ups. Most likely than not, they're trying to hide something.

I read your post on your thread about the second highest bidder begging you for the bag. I think if you're going to pass on this because it is fake, then you should pass along the information here on the thread to that poor buyer.

What happened with your friend's cervo antik that she wanted to sell you? Maybe you should also post pics of her bag here in the thread to make sure?

As to the smaller E/W: No, I haven't seen one. BUT that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

hi marose28. yeah, i am going to pass along the info. i come across a lot of people who offer their bag for sale then changed their mind. and my friend is one of them!! they are one of those who felt they ought to liquidate since the items are not used enough, but at the same time they could not bear to let them go so they go back and forth!! and all the while i changed my mind about getting another antik cervo since i already have the flat hobo and just bought the dome one. so i offered this one to another friend, and there is this other bidder wanting it. my goodness. why can't prada just reissue this range??

do you know if the seller can file a claim against me if i refuse to pay because of this issue?

i am also now really curious if there ever was a smaller version of the E/W antik cervo...

Nope. Sorry, don't know much about eBay these days. Maybe you can post on the eBay thread? But theoretically, how can the seller file a NPB claim against you when her bag is fake?

Have you said anything to the seller yet? Can you still ask for close-up pics? If you still can, then maybe you should. It's always best to have as much evidence that it's fake so you can support your claim.

That's too bad about your friend. I love my cervo antiks so much, I can't imagine selling any of them!

I feel you! I wish Prada would bring this line back. I know Prada still has cervo antiks, but the finish is different than our bags from previous seasons. Maybe it's for the best... save money, you know. LOL.

Oops, hit the thumbs down too quickly. That one looks OK. You have to be super careful with these stripes bags/accessories. The fakes can be very, very good. I'd still want a close up of the PRADA logo on the outside of the bag just be 100% certain.

Just saw this after I responded to your first post about this bag. I'm usually asleep at 3AM.

I think if you do a Live Chat with an eBay rep and tell them you had the bag evaluated after the auction ended and learned it was fake, they should remove the item and you'll be off the hook. That way the seller can't NPB you.
