Hi just wondering whether MiuMiu provides any repair within 12 months of purchased for free. Infact whether such kind of service do offer by them.
My matelasse braided handle stitched came undone, not all but just one part of it. Will give them a call later today but I thought to ask from you guys since you are the expert :)

Anyway I got my answer but I hope someone would share their experienced.... But hope remain hope.

I believe you have 12 months for coverage on free repairs on all defects. If it's not a defect then they will still repair it but at a cost. From what you said, it sounds like it probably is a defect, so I would bring it into any Miu Miu store to have it repaired. The repair process is usually quite seamless and easy. You can pay an additional shipping fee if you don't want to have to pick up the repair and can have it shipped to your home instead from the shop. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply. I did give a call and it is 2 years warranty. I believe it is quality issue, a defect because the stitched is inside stitching and for it to undone due to quality because no way something can stuct between the stitching and made it broken.

Going to visit the shop thus Tuesday. Good luck to me

You shouldn't have a problem with it. Also those handles are hand-braided, so I have been told that when it comes to handmade products, some might not hold up as well as others. I personally will still appreciate a handcrafted leather good vs. machine made bags. Good luck!

I love my MiuMiu and between my LV and MiuMiu I always get compliment carrying MiuMiu than LV. The colour and the design is just so me so sad to see the broken seam when it less than 7 months old. And I carry it once a while!

It's two years warranty?? Hah, wish I had known that. The SAs in London never said anything about warranty. I wouldn't have sold my little bow bag otherwise... It is putting my off Miu Miu. I was looking at a Bottega the other day and the SA told me it was covered for 2 years straight away!

yes I was pleasantly surprised when she informed me that. Wow, LV only give 12 months!! Next task is to convince them about quality issue since there is no way I can broke the seam.

I never know about the 2 years warranty but was informed upon purchased they offer after sales service.
