Yes - but you are actually ordering from
Nordstrom - they are the ones who run the Kors website, and you have to do it by phone, not online. As well, they do not collect duties and taxes the way JAX does for Coach so you will be charged that by Canada Customs upon arrival of the merchandise. Unless something has changed since last year - I only called about this once. It's definetely not as good as the Coach system.
I think you kind of have to look at purchasing Kors in a completely different way than Coach:
- Kors has a 10 day refund/exchange policy so your bag is pretty much final sale.
- The stores do not seem to want to share merchandise in the same way the Coach stores do - they are not as amenable to ordering in from other stores and consider it a last resort and may not even do it at all
- Ordering from the website is not as transparent a process as it is with Coach and they cannot even tell you the final shipping charges until you complete the order (which I thought was weird)
- Duties/taxes are to be paid by you upon the item arriving into Canada, not collected up front.
For me, I've completely changed my mindset on purchasing now. I buy Kors in store only - it seems to be the way they prefer to do business. As I mentioned before - they have a completely different business model from Coach - more of a "final sale" approach.
Oh, and one last thing - if you do order in from the US I am not sure if you would be allowed to return it to a Kors store, I didn't ask about that.
