I'm a die hard Coach buyer but have always wanted a MK bag. I am going to Atlantic City Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. I see the outlets have a MK outlet. So I have a few questions 1. What price range should I expect at the outlet? I prefer big bags 2. I do not carry bags with gold hardware what are the chances of finding non gold hardware bags at the outlet? 3. Are there additional discounts in store or in the outlet coupon book? Any advice or questions are appreciated.

Hi the prices at the MK outlet are pretty close to Mk full price. They rarely do coupons or extra discounts. There is more gold tone hardware lately however you should be able to find silver also. If you shop at TJ Max or Marshall's you can find some of the same bags there from time to time for about $100 less. I have purchaed several totes and Hamilton's at TJ Max.

Good luck!

I agree that the price of the outlet bags is about the same as purchasing them from the full price store. I have purchased one bag from the outlet and it does have the silver hardware. My only warning is their return policy. They will only allow you to exchange but not let you return to get your money back.

I was able to get an extra 20% off for being a VIP member of the Premium Outlet. They'll give it to you if your purchase is $200 or more. You do get a coupon booklet for joining so it might be worthwhile. It's also good at other stores.

I agree, with this statement. The Return Policy does NOT compare to the Coach policy you might be used to. This keeps me from MK bags.

if prices are similar to the normal stores you might as well go to may be Nordstroms, macys or a department store that carries that particular bag...at least you have the option to return.

How did you make out in NJ? I know most of the outlets had Memorial Day sales. I have been wanting the quilted Hamilton for awhile, I called just about every outlet store on the east coast and found the "Lifestyle" version, which is the Hamilton with the lock, not the Outlet version, with the name plate, remember the outlet has different versions of some bags. Anyway, I was able to purchase it at 40% off!!! What a deal, and they only charge $15 for shipping. I'm counting the days til it gets delivered.

I would do some research online shopping as well since most of the major online retailers carry Michael Kors. That way you can compare prices and return policies. I've also seen Michael Kors bags at Ross on occasion.

My mom purchased a Michael Kors bag at the outlet last year. It was on sale and there was an additional 50% off those markdowns so she got a pretty good deal. It seems like those additional discounts don't happen often though since I haven't seen that again.
