I'm part of the Administration Team (I am the Assessment/PPS Coordinator and Facility Educator) for an inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (Physical Rehab). I have seen some amazing things here. We have rehabilitated people who could only move a finger and a couple months later they walk out of the unit.

If only the whole world could see that even though everyone's different, we still have one thing in common: Passion. For whatever it is (in our case, one passion is clearly bags!)

Oh and I'm a Graphic Designer, by the way. It's fun, and good money, but nothing I want to do all my life.
cool! another artist!

Thanks, it really is rewarding. I was a nurse in Medical/Surgical and Infectious Disease for years and worked nights. When I was offered this position, days 9-5ish, salary and weekends off; I thought it would be a nice change but boring. It has not been boring, I can honestly say I love my job.

Well Gingaritia this will make you laugh- as you may have read I am a Dog Trainer, I own my own dog training business teaching classes and doing private training and I also work at an animal shelter doing intake assessments, evals, training,... I also compete with one of my shelter rescue bearded collie's True in agility, obedience and rally...and I am allergic to dogs!
I am much less allergic to dogs who grow long hair with a low shed rate like poodles, bichons, bearded collies,... but I spend a lot of time around very sheddy dogs as well and with them I am very allergic.
ETA: I also started working with dogs later in my life after having been an actress, a punk rock singer, a bartender and a web designer. Wish I had found the dog thing earlier but grateful I found my true calling after all!
