Default Third Party MJ Repairs in NYC
Hi,

So I recently had drama about my MJ stam and fortunately it's going to get shipped to the Marc Jacobs facility but I had a question about a third party repair shop that maybe you guys had experiences with in NYC?

Can you tell me your recommendation, what you did/got fixed and how much it cost? (I'm seriously worried about the cost. I've heard horror stories about like $300 for a buckle being replaced or something.)

i've had good experiences with artbag at 84th and madison. my repair was expensive as it dealt with redyeing a spot on my bag where the color had been lifted due to a stain. quite a few ladies over in the bal forum have sent their bags over to them for repairs and/or cleaning. you can always call them for a price quote. their number is (212) 744-2720. here's their website: www.artbag.com. good luck!

Thanks for the recommendation for artbag. I've heard many stories of people having problems with their stams and I just bought one so its good to have it handy.
