Default the leather on my mbmj bag looks dry..help!?
Hi everyone,

I recently got the mbmj mag bag in black leather..but because of my job I'm in the car for most of my day therefore my poor bag sits in the hot sun..and now the leather looks and feels dry.

How do you guys treat and clean your bag? can I use the coach leather conditioner and cleaner?

and one more question..does the black leather fade?

Thanks!!

i have actually heard tpfers discourage from using coach cleaner on mbmj bags because its too harsh...i use apple care conditioner and cleanser (when needed) and on all my other bags as well...you can find it at leatherstuff.com...

leather fades if kept out in the sun because the color gets bleached from the rays...one of my corinna city totes ended up like this...its advised to keep your leathers out of the sun so try to keep it in the shade and use conditioner and guard sprays to help prolong the leather durability and wear, that way your bag will look brand new like after years of wear!

lovinmybags.com is another great place for leather care. Don't use the coach products... there are some threads about it if you run a search. Some girls have done it but other's have had bad experiences so best not to take that risk :)

i've used apple care conditioner on my mbmj and it helped lots! it tends to look a bit dry during the winter months for me.

I think most of the members here would suggest the apple care and conditioner mentioned above. I bought the guard and the conditioner at Burlington Coat factory about a month ago for a total of $10. I have not used it yet, but plan to soon.
