I don't cheat anymore.
I can't even remember what I carried the last time I did cheat. Possibly a Stuart Weitzman. Maybe a Rebecca Minkoff. Whatever it was, I carried it so I wouldn't get a "good" bag dirty.

(and don't take it wrong if you're a RM fan. I am too. Just don't carry them anymore)

Okay, per your request, here are some quick photos of my recent cheats. Both of these, sadly, did not work for me.

First there's the YSL Scoop Flap bag, brand new from Fall 2009. It's stunning, sophisticated, and simple. However, it was just a little bit too big for me. If it were two inches less wide, it'd be perfect!

And secondly, here is the Miu Miu pocket hobo. The leather was really fantastic (though it didn't smell amazing, strangely enough), and of course I loved the gold hardware and the shape. But forget puppies and kids....my BF's 6'4" and I think HE could fit inside this bag. It's just way too huge for me! Additionally, it was entirely too casual for my taste.

The Miu looks less like the Coffer than it did in that original pic you posted
What about the Coffer bag, BOM? Have you ever tried that one?

I *believe* the YSL is made out of textured calf leather, but I'm not positive. It's outrageously soft, though.

The Miu Miu wasn't very coffer-like at all, but it was really pretty! The leather was super thick, too. I've thought about the Coffer, but it's just too big ofo a bag for me. Even the mini Coffers wouldn't be practical. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

BOM, both those are are gorgy. And you are like me, so difficult to find my perfect black bags. I'm still searching too. I have a disappointment in black chanel recently. I hope to find my bag soon. Same to you BOM>

I'm really petite. i have a hug disapointment on a recent purchase of a Chanel bowler. The bag is so beautiful in picture, but it was way too big on me. Had to go back to my best Saks SA. I feel so bad to mess up her commision though.

For awhile now, the perfect casual black bag has eluded me! I wanted to stay in the MJ family, but I couldn't seem to find exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something simple yet elegant, casual yet sophisticated, structured but easy to throw over my shoulder. I never would've guessed that my first Prada would fit the bill!
