I have been after this color for so long, and the bag, its really roomy and light! i can hold everything into it. the day i got it i was in and out of the store for so many times the SA recognized me. Its actually a really dark purple.
My new Longchamp in Bilberry.

Valentino Jardin Rose Frame Duffle in Eggplant. (aubergine, almost black )

From the second I laid my eyes and hands on the new 2009 Valentino bags, I literally have not been able to keep them out of my head. It is nappa leather, far and away the softest most luxurious leather I have EVER felt on a bag of any kind. But at around $1800-$2400, I resigned that it wasn't in the cards to buy a new one now. Maybe ever.

As luck would have it, I was in Saks in Birmingham just yesterday lamenting over the fact that they are no longer going to carry MJ collection bags and mentioned that I was in love with the new Valentino bags. The SA disappeared only to return with it..they had gotten one in as a return (they don't even sell them in that store at all!). It had been marked down 3 times and was an additional 25% off the last price. It was like the purse gods dubbed me Queen for a Day or something. Got this brand new $2,495 bag for $760. (I know, r

ight?) I looove frame bags so much, too, so I'm still freaked out by my luck.

I can't believe I would ever be attracted to roses on a bag, for god's sake, yet these bags struck me like lightning. The leather, my stars, the leather!

Izznit!!! WOW! Love that Burberry bag! I am not a huge Burberry lover, but that bag rocks!!

SLCsocialite--Love your silver clutch, I have been on the hunt FOREVER for one! I need one to match a pair of silver shoes.

Selmom--You are sooo lucky!! Valentino bags ( especially the leather) is TDF!! And you got it for a fabulous price. I love the style, color, everything!! The roses really make it stand out. Congrats, she is a beauty. My best friend has a Valentino bag that is one big rose ( I think the petale bag) and she gets compliments all the time.
