I purchased a Totally Turnlock Teri bag in the new Elderberry color (dark plum) over the weekend & noticed a tag on the inside pocket talking about possible color transfer. How concerned should I be? Would there be less color transfer possibility with a more polished or even patent leather bag? I'm now a little paranoid and don't want to cut the tags off if I have to evaluate every outfit. Help!

I don't think it will transfer that much color… maybe on a white pair of jeans, but overall I don't think you should worry. I have a MBMJ bag that said the same thing, but it never transfered any color anywhere.

I haven't had any problems with mine, but I don't wear too much white b/c I tend to attract stains
I think I'd be more worried with a lighter bag b/c I've heard that denim can transfer color onto bags.

I would be more concerned about colour transfer ONTO the bag, from dark demin. This happened with a cranberry faridah I purchased (it was a return and the back had some demin transfer on it). But with the Elderberry, I imagine this won't be a problem as it is dark enough! Congrats by the way, gorgeous bag!

I would only be concerned about denim dye transfer onto the bag... or if you're wearing a very light colored top.
