i went to the NR in metro pointe in costa mesa, right across the street from south coast plaza. (off the 405N at fairview or bristol, but it's actually on bear. if you know where it is, great; if not, it's the same plaza that has the container store.) when i went in on tuesday the 17th around 6pm, they had many new mj bags - berry, denim, orange, that soft chartreusey color, the metallic woven ones. i don't know all the names for the bags, but i did purchase the berry venezia (and even after my purchase at the time, i believe there were about three left) and the last silver blake. i saw the silver venezia on hold and don't know if it was purchased or not (probably gone by now). the SA that helped me said that the last kelly green venezia was sold out that morning. i think his name was sergio? and he said the color was "a true green, like crayola green." and when he did a stock check on it (nationwide), it was all sold out in that color. perhaps they'll get more in? this particular NR is supposed to have an event this sunday evening, which includes availability of certain brands of clothings and accessories and purses, such as MJ (if they don't sell out by then) and betsey johnson, etc. perhaps they'll get more in for the sunday evening event? one can but hope.

Wow, what a great find! You lucky gal! I'd kill for a silver Blake. Congrats and enjoy your new acquisitions!

I've asked 2 different SAs to help me with a stock check but both said that they couldn't for Nordstrom Rack inventory...has anyone else been able to get them to do a stock check for you?

I called a lot of NR today - almost all of them have the Orange? all of them have the Berry - and Tina's - couldn't find any Blakes :(

Argh!!! I've been calling NRs everywhere to find a silver Blake and I got put on hold for 30 minutes at one place, got disconnected and called back, and she told me she just sold that exact one to a customer in the store while I was on hold! I've called tons of stores and that was the only one which seemed to still have it.

im tempted to go too on subday night.... :) lucky purchase for the blake there. im on a mission to find a blake in a color i like at NR now :)

I am not sure if this is the same event, But the NR in Woodland Hill is having a Customer Appreciation Event on Sunday Night.

Oh my, how crazy is that, I was going to post this info, I just found out today. You never know who's on TPF we could be neighbors .
I'm so getting there early so I can be close to the front of the line, people get crazy over discounts. Did you go to the one last year? People were cutting in line, pushing, grabbing things out of peoples hands. It's pretty scary, I'm going strictly for the MJ handbags and getting outta there .
