Good for you thithi! "Out of sight, out of mind" is a good strategy, i try to stick by it...but darn Saks is just right across from where i work. The mind is trying, but the heart and LEGS do not listen lol. But i'm glad i wasn't tempted by the MJ bags they have on sale this time....yet! Must resist...

^ I think you have a great strategy too! If you know what you want and have your heart set on it, you won't succumb to other bags just because of a sale. Right now, there is nothing truly calling my name, so I'm doing well with my ban. 12 days counting, LOL!

^ Z, you are soooo funny! I can relate too - I am surrounded by so many shopping centers (can't even keep track), I can hit South Coast Plaza or Fashion Island during lunch hour too. How is a girl supposed to resist? LOL.

These MJ bags have been sitting at Saks/NM/Bloomies for quite some time now, it's time for them to get marked down. Nordies cleared them out during their Semi-Annual & Annual Sale several months ago, NM & Bloomies need to start doing that too.

Cheryl: Thanks for the update. I still couldn't believe the black leather goods are on sale. Don't settle, try to get items you absolutely love only. There'll always be another sale, it's never ending. =)

BL, I never had CC debt until Sept. That Gucci, 3 vacations this month(Seattle, Baltimore, SF), and a prepaid 1 week vacation to Miami in March put me over 3K and I had to carry the balance for 1 month.. thankfully it will be paid off soon... I hate debt! I would never buy a bag unless I had extra to spare but I couldn't resist my Gucci... and maybe some other bags too. but shhh, that's a secret.
