Bag: luscious chocolate-y brown Stam!
You: Hispanic (?), talking on you cell phone
Me: blonde, wearing long black sweater and jeans, carrying caramel Balenciaga city

I couldn't keep my eyes off this bag--gorgeous! What makes it so unusual is that one doesn't see much besides Coach, occasional LV, occasional Chanel, in this neck of the woods. So if it was you, Howdy from a fellow tPFer, and keep on rockin' that Stam!

oh, this is a great thread. i love the balenciaga sightings one. i haven't seen many stams lately, but i've seen a bunch of other mj bags around.

Yesterday (Monday, March 10th)
Where: Los Angeles Red Line from Union Station
You: Light-skinned African/American in 20's, maybe 30's...Grey Skirt, Yellow Shirt/Sweater (may have been the other way around)

The Hudson made me drool! I was wondering if it might be a fellow TPf'er....

I posted this in the NY thread, but here's my recent sighting:

Where: LIRR, Great Neck to Penn Station
When: On the 10:21am (arrival at Penn) train, sometime last week
Who: lovely asian lady, long haired, about 5'4
What: MJ Ines in peanut

I gawked at the bag, then caught myself because I didn't want to seem all creepy.

Was it a tPF?????

Today, Thursday, March 13th...
Where: Getting off of the L.A. Red Line at Civic Center Station
What: Taupe Stam without chain

I saw this bag and wanted to squeal! This is the bag I bought on E-bay, only to have the auction cancelled and not sent. WWWWAAAAAAHHH!! It was so pretty. It looked real. The dark-haired woman was walking really, really fast and I did not feel comfortable chasing her down. If this is the Taupe Stam, I WANT one!! I felt like it was taunting me.....saying, "See, look at how beautiful and elusive I am....., you want me, don't you?" LOL! Why are all these MJ's showing up on my subway all of a sudden???

i had two mj sightings today:

where: 42nd street times square downtown broadway line platform.
when: march 13th at around 5:45 pm.
you: had your back turned to me waiting for the downtown q train. you had bold chestnut highlighted hair and was wearing slim khaki pants, stiletto heels, and a brown fur coat. you looked so glamorous and smashing!
me: i was staring out the window of the r train admiring your black alyona.

where: astor place, east village
when: march 13th at 6 pm.
you: stepped out in front of me to cross the street. you were wearing black leggings, black boots, and black fur-trimmed jacket. the best part? you were carrying a fall 07 black faridah.
me: i was standing behind you wearing a marine blue military coat, grey scarf, and chili trish.
