Default mj repairs - how long?
just a quick question to all my mj girls who've had to ship a bag to mj repairs -- how long after you shipped the bag out before it was returned to you? im seriously missing my hudson, and its only been about 3 weeks :(

also, do they contact you by email/phone to let you know they are returning your bag so you know to be on the lookout?

thanks <3

I waited over a month for the return of my topaz quilted Elise (for a minor repair.) Just when I was starting to worry about it though it showed up on my porch. They won't call or email you, it just randomly appears at your home. Don't worry Jackie, I'm sure your Hudson will be returned to you soon. HTH!

I think my large MP took a few weeks. And like Melly's bag, mine just showed up one day with no advance notice.

I'm curious what they will do as well. Would you mind posting a pic of the repair when it arrives?

When I purchased my Elise from Nordies I failed to notice that the spring inside the pushlock was broken. I never use that pocket though so I put off having it repaired.

Tuffcookie, my Olga is there too, maybe they are hanging out together! It's her 2nd trip to see Diego.... Her chain strap came unstitched from the bag & then it happened again (but not the original repair). She was gone about 3 weeks last time....

My Little Stam is in repair as well so I think they're rockin' it out at the repair center. Having a party, sippin' margaritas while we miss them so badly!

If Diego can fix it without sending it to Italy, a couple weeks, but if it has to get sent to Italy it will be a bit longer. Don't worry, it is worth it! Diego fixed one of my bags, sent to Italy and everything, and it is beautiful now!

ya' know on the handle where its stitched in the middle? well, the stitching starting coming loose, exposing the material below it. i didnt notice it at first (i won the bag on ebay from an awesome tPFer), but caught it the following day when i went to use the bag.

diego mentioned having to send it to italy when i described what the problem was.

so there are currently 3 of "our" bags in repairs? liked stated above, hopefully they're all chillin' together!

I called up Bloomies to have them check in with MJ Repairs and the SA was kind enough to let me know that my bag should be sent back to them sometime next week and they will give me a call to go pick it up. I'm waiting anxiously in return of Little Stammy!

I just sent an older Venetia to Diego today for a broken zipper and missing zipper pull. I wonder if there is a TPF party going on there tonight. LOL
