i think i'm in love with faded aluminum too, but I'm reserving judgement until I see it irl.

I didn't realize that the grey MbyMJ was called "Faded Aluminum"
I've seen it in person (at MbyMJ) and it looks JUST like Mouse Grey
in fact, I thought it was when I was looking at it (didn't check the tags)
even the texture of the leather is a lot like my Mouse Grey Groovee was
(which I believe was F07)

well, that's a bummer. Mj needs to do true greys. mouse is more of a taupeish grey huh? not that i have anything against taupe. in fact i think it's one of my fav colors...

welcome. a gal on here said she saw it IRL too and it's a bit more red than the stock photo's make it look. it sounds stunning

Mouse was from MBMJ Spring '08. It is much more grey than taupe but is a grey with warm taupe/lavender undertones and silver hardware. From what I can tell from the pics on Saks the faded aluminum is a grey with cool undertones and gold hardware. The leather itself looks the same - thick and pebbled and yummy.

I don't think so. The Collection Mouse from F06 was more of a taupe-ish grey, but I thought the Mouse from MbyMJ's F07 line was more of a true grey color

I know I'm jumping in here blind, but today I saw a MbMJ wallet in a grey color that was very "true grey". I didn't check to see what the color name was, but it was lovely and reminded me a little of Graphite.
