Oh, that stinks, Paula! It's the worst when your little ones can't sleep b/c of other peoples' rude behavior.
Do you have a pic of the bag you're referring to?

So I thought I was getting a great deal on a Chloe bag. But I discovered that it's probably fake. Am I supposed to just leave it alone? Or do I need to file something? (I haven't paid yet)

I need an expert opinion - if I already have a purple Spring Street do I REALLY need a purple Blake? Even if the price is retardedly phenomenal?

And yes, I made up a work.

hi rachie!
i definitely gravitate to particular colors (wine/eggplant/maroon) so i understand your love of purple shades
if you love the spring street and love it in purple, go for it.
i know that many like to diversify the colors in their collections, but i found that it didn't work for me.

i put my sunscreen on too late at the pool.
I am a lobster. A LOBSTER!
after a whole day at the beach (yesterday) with spf 15 and NO burn at all and barely any color, i thought "hey, half an hour or so at the pool will be okay without sunblock". WRONG.
pain pain pain.
never again!!!!!!

Ugh Dawn I wanted you to tell me no.

I do have a diversified color collection actually. I don't really double up on colors but I do find I gravitate towards the blue/purple colors. Oy! Don't let me do it!

ETA: You are going to be a 'hurting, girl. Put on some aloe!

Rachel, how often does something retardedly phenomenal come along?! I gravitate towards brown, green and blue bags - same thing with clothes. We all have colors we're drawn to again and again, and the Blake, Spring Street and Hillier are all sooo different from one another!

Ouch, Dawn! Darn that sun!!

Dawn, I know this might sound gross, but break out the cider vinegar and douse yourself with it... it takes the fire right out of the sunburn. I can't tell you how many wicked bad sunburns I gave myself over the years, my poor abused Mac NW15 pale Irish skin lol. One time, my back was covered with blisters. (try putting bra straps over blisters)

purple blake sounds devine!! if the price is good, don't pass it up! more than one purple bag is totally acceptable in my book.

sorry about the sunburn dawn! maybe some aloe will help with that?

I've heard cider vinegar works wonders - I also highly recommend the after-sun care stuff from Burt's Bees. Cools it right down and takes away the red.

I'm making a balsamic-red wine reduction with shallots, garlic and mushrooms while DH is grilling filet mignon Sooo hungry!!
